How to Set Up Exchange on Windows XP
Using Microsoft Outlook 2007 to access your @ne.tamu.edu email.
- On Campus -
Is this the first time you've set up Outlook?
- Yes, I have not used Outlook before. Start at step 1.
- No, I have already configured Outlook for something else.
Start at step 2.
1. If this is the first time you've attempted to set up Outlook:
Click 'Start' and then 'E-mail', as below. Skip to step 6.
2. If you've set up accounts in Outlook before:
Click 'Start', right-click 'E-mail', and click 'Properties', as below.
3. Select 'E-mail Accounts...'.
4. Select the 'E-mail' tab. Click 'New...'.
5. Select 'Microsoft Exchange,..', click 'Next'.
6. At the 'Add New E-mail Account' screen type your name, your NE email address, and your NE password. Then click 'Next'.
7. Click 'Next' after the settings have been discovered for you.
12. If prompted about 'Mail Deliver Location', click 'OK'.
13. Click 'Finish'.
