On Thursday, September 3rd, the Department of Nuclear Engineering bid farewell to their long-time outreach coordinator, Ms. Beth Earl, who is retiring after 26 long years of service to Texas A&M. Beth first joined the University in 1983 as the assistant to the Deputy Chancellor of the Texas Agriculture Experiment Station. She also worked for Dr. Herb Richards, Deputy Chancellor and Dean of Engineering.

During her time in the Nuclear Engineering Department, she personified the essence of our high school outreach program, which helped save the Department and build a foundation for its success over the years.
