Exelon's Community Information Night
Exelon hosted Victoria's first Community Information Night on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. The event was designed to promote a better understanding of nuclear energy and teach the community more about Exelon's proposed nuclear power plant in Victoria County. Exelon safety experts, educators, trade associations, and others were present to discuss Plant Operations, Emergency Preparedness, Safety & Radiation, and the Environmental Impact of nuclear power plants. Representing Texas A&M's Nuclear Engineering Department were Dr. & Mrs. Juzaitis, Andy Acker (the NE development officer), graduate students, Marie Cronholm and Adam Shephard, and Beth Earl, our outreach coordinator.
