The Department of Nuclear Engineering was represented at this year's Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching

The conference was held in Fort Worth, TX from November 5th through the 8th. More than 5000 teachers (K-12th grades) attended the event. Participants from our department were: Dr. John W. Poston, Sr., Beth Earl (outreach coordinator), graduate students (James Miller, Daniel Strohmeyer, Bradley Cox and Daniel Kesack), and an undergraduate student (Maria Catanach). Our representatives distributed more than 1000 info packets to the teachers and demonstrated many activities the teachers could use in their classrooms.
